Authorities say an accident involving an 18-wheeler closed the intersection of FM-1093 Fulshear and FM-1463.

FULSHIERE, Texas – Authorities said on Tuesday that an accident involving an 18-wheeler and another vehicle closed the FM-1093 and FM-1463 intersection in both directions.

The Fulshire Police Department said officers from the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety are working on the accident. TxDOT and CenterPoint are reported to be on their way.

Eastbound traffic on FM-1093 has bypassed Cross Creek Ranch, according to Fulshear PD. Driving north on Highway 359 detour to Fulshire-Gaston. Westbound traffic on FM-1093 rounded east of Walmart.

Drivers are asked to avoid the intersection during this time due to traffic.
