Authorities say 2 people have died in a 3-car crash on I-10 near Brookshire.

Brookshire, Texas Two people died in a major accident involving at least three vehicles on I-10 near Brookshire on Saturday morning, officials said.

Houston TranStar reported the crash around 7:49 am on I-10 West near FM 359.

Authorities with the Waller County Sheriff’s Office and the Brookshire Police Department are currently processing the scene.

Eastbound I-10 lanes remain closed while authorities investigate what caused the crash.
