Authorities say 1 person was killed and 3 seriously injured in a shooting at a party near Sam Houston State University.

HUNTSVILLE, Texas – One person died and three were injured in a shooting at a home near Sam Houston State University early Saturday morning, authorities said.

It happened on 19th Street near Avenue O shortly after midnight.

Officers from the Texas Police, Sam Houston State Police, and representatives from the Walker County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the home where Authorities say there was a big party at the house.

When they entered the house, authorities said officers found four people with gunshot wounds.

All four victims were taken to regional hospitals, where one of them later died. Three other victims remain in critical condition.

Investigators are looking for two men involved in the shooting. Photos released by Huntsville police show a man with dreadlocks and a red shirt. Another is shown wearing what appears to be a black T-shirt.
