Austin drivers have a new way to pay for parking

Drivers in Austin have a new way to pay for parking.

Starting this week, way.com The app, previously only used for off-street parking, can now be used for off-street parking as well.

The application allows users to search for the nearest parking. Then, the user enters their parking space number (or license plate, depending on location), vehicle information, and length of stay. Users can also manage and renew their parking sessions, as well as access parking history and receipts.

Drivers can also use Park ATH remotely manage your parking sessions. With Park ATX, drivers get two 15-minute free parking every 24 hours using the codes “FREE15ATX1” and “FREE15ATX2”.

In 2020, Austin partnered with Google to allow drivers to pay for parking through the Google Maps app, but that pilot program has ended.
