At least five people were injured in an accident in Pembroke Park

PEMBROOK PARK, Florida. (WSVN) – At least five people have been injured in a brutal crash in Pembroke Park, officials said.

Pembroke Park Police and Sheriff Broward’s fire and rescue units arrived at the scene in the Southwest 51st Avenue and 41st Street area just after 10 p.m. Thursday.

Miami-Dade Fire and Rescue Units also arrived on the scene to assist rescuers.

7News cameras captured a strong police presence, as well as a dark-colored sedan with significant damage.

As it became known to 7News, two victims were thrown out of the car.

MDFR officials said the BSFR told them there were at least five patients.

Rescuers deliver several victims to regional hospitals, the rest are treated on the spot.
