Arlington police investigate motel homicide

ARLINGTON, Texas. Arlington police are investigating the murder of a man found dead early Saturday morning in a motel parking lot.

Officers were called around 5:38 a.m. Saturday to a motel in the 1200 block of North Watson Road after a staff member reported the man was lying unconscious in the parking lot.

Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene and said that the police found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say they believe the 43-year-old victim may have engaged in illegal sexual activities and are investigating what role this may have played in the shooting.

The identity of the victim will be established after the next of kin are notified.

According to police, there are no suspects and no arrests at this time.
