According to the HCSO, a 16-year-old teenager was gunned down outside a strip club in northern Harris County.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A 16-year-old teenager was gunned down in northern Harris County on Sunday evening and the suspect reportedly fled the scene.

Officials from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office say the shooting occurred at the 22900 block of Imperial Valley Drive.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez says the shooting happened outside the shopping lane around 3:30 p.m.

Deputies say they were sent to Imperial Valley Drive about the shooting and when they arrived they found the body of a teenager.

Investigators say the teenager was dating someone in the parking lot of a strip center.

Detectives have a security camera video showing him talking to someone in a gray Volkswagen Passat.

At some point, according to the deputies, someone shot a teenager from the car. They find out what led to the shooting.

“We don’t know exactly what he did. We don’t know if it’s drug related or how he interacted with the people in the car. We know that it has been in the parking lot for some time and interacted with several other vehicles prior to that. At the moment, we are trying to find out what he was doing here, what were his motives when he met with these people, ”said the sergeant. Jason Brown said.

The police are still looking for a gray Volkswagen Passat.

It is not clear how many people were inside the vehicle and it is said that it did not have license plates.
