A well-connected Houston man wanted by the FBI is accused of possessing “explosive devices” in an Arkansas home.

Neil Ravi Mahta is wanted after authorities found several explosive devices at his home in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

HOUSTON. The FBI is looking for a man who used to work for a Houston company.

Neil Ravi Mehta, 31, has been put on the wanted list after federal investigators said they ransacked his home in Fort Smith, Arkansas, last month and found multiple explosive devices. According to the FBI, Mehta faces illegal possession of an unregistered explosive device charge.

According to public records, Mehta worked for a company listed on Allen Parkway several years ago.

Mehta is described as being about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. FBI investigators said he had ties to Houston, Dallas, eastern Oklahoma, Atlanta, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Denver, New York, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Pakistan, and India.

FBI officials said he should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him is asked to stay away from him and call local law enforcement or 1-800-CALL-FBI (225-5324) immediately.
