A Virginia man has been accused of inappropriately touching children at a swimming pool in Loudoun County.

A Virginia man has been charged after allegedly inappropriately touching children at a pool in Loudoun County twice, officials said.

Michael D. Taylor, 62, was charged with a total of four counts of assault in connection with one incident that occurred on Friday and another that was reported to have occurred in December.

Deputies from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of an attack at Claude Moore Park swimming pool in Sterling, Virginia around 6 a.m. Friday.

According to the sheriff’s office, two children reported that they were inappropriately touched in the pool on Friday.

The sheriff’s office also learned that Taylor inappropriately touched two children on another occasion at the pool in December.

In each incident, he faces two cases of assault.

Taylor was taken to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center and is being held without bail.

Investigators believe there may be additional suspects, the sheriff’s office said.
