A search is underway for a 72-year-old man who went missing in Fort Lauderdale.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida. (WSVN) – Police are reaching out to the public for help in the search for an elderly man missing from a Fort Lauderdale hospital.

In accordance with Fort Lauderdale PolicePhilippe Segretto, 72, was last seen leaving Holy Cross Hospital on Saturday evening.

Segretto is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 124 pounds. Detectives did not specify what he was last seen wearing.

Investigators said Segretto had dementia.

They are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Fort Lauderdale Police at 954-828-5700 or the local police department.
