A major accident involving an Aldine ISD school bus has brought Humble Westfield Road to a halt near Humble, police said.

HOUSTON — Authorities are investigating a major accident involving an Aldine ISD school bus and another vehicle on Thursday morning.

The accident happened in the 9200 block of Humble Westfield Road around 8:40 am.

It is unknown how many students were on the bus. It is also unclear how many people were injured in the accident.

Drivers are being urged to seek an alternative route while authorities clear the scene.
