SARASOTA COUNTY, Florida. The Punta Gorda Police Department was notified today by the North Port Police Department of a threat against Charlotte High School. The report said that the man planned to “shell” the school.
The man who made the threat was quickly identified as a 14-year-old freshman from Charlotte High. During the interview, the student admitted to sending the message, but stated that it was “a joke”.
