The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for the Pajaro River and the city of Pajaro in Monterey County, which is valid until 11:45 a.m. Saturday.
Major life-threatening flooding is expected in the county, the county said Saturday morning.
According to the Monterey County Office of Emergency Management, a flash flood warning is affecting the Pajaro River dam failure area and the Pacific Ocean town of Pajaro.
