6 car accident on I-95 in Martin County closed all lanes, 7 people were injured.

MARTIN COUNTY, Florida. On Saturday morning, a six-vehicle crash on northern Interstate 95 north of Indiantown in Martin County closed all lanes and injured seven people.

The multi-vehicle crash occurred in front of Mile 89, north of Indianatown, around 9:45 am.

All vehicles were severely damaged and I-95 was closed while crews worked on the scene, Martin County Fire and Rescue Department Corey Pippin said in an email to WPTV.

Firefighters had to use rescue tools to get the victims out of the vehicles.

One person was seriously injured and was taken to a local emergency room, and six more were slightly injured and were taken to hospital for examination.

Another passenger was not injured.
