4 teens shot in drive-by outside Long Island party: cops

Four Long Island teenagers were shot by a drive-by gunman outside of a “large house party” Saturday night.

The mass shooting happened just before midnight in Freeport after a bash on Babylon Turnpike spilled into the residential neighborhood, according to Nassau County cops.

A shooter in a car traveling south on the turnpike fired multiple shots into a crowd at Independence Avenue, injuring two 16-year-old boys, a 16-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy, police said.

The Freeport Police responded to a person shot Saturday October 15, 2022.  The incident location was Babylon TPKE.  All victims have been transported to local area hospitals

The injured teens were being treated at area hospitals while cops looked for the deranged shooter.
