3 FC Dallas players join the US Men’s National Team for the January training camp.

FRISCO, Texas. Three FC Dallas players have been called up to the US men’s team for the January training camp, the club said on Wednesday.

Striker Jesús Ferreira, winger Paul Arriola and midfielder Paxton Pomikal will represent the stars and stripes throughout the January list. Ferreira is the only one of the three to make the USMNT squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, but Arriola has played a key role in the tournament’s preparation matches.

Pomykal receives his first USMNT call-up since January 2020 camp.

To date, Arriola has played 48 matches for the United States, Ferreira has changed 16 times, and Pomykal has played only once. Arriola scored 10 goals for the USA, Ferreira scored seven times.

USMNT Assistant Coach Anthony Hudson will oversee the USMNT camp along with World Championship Assistant Coach BJ Callaghan and Under-20 National Team Head Coach Mikey Varas.

The training camp will start on January 21st.

USMNT will face Serbia on Wednesday, January 25th at the Banc of California in Los Angeles, followed by Columbia on Saturday, January 28th at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.
