18-wheel jackknife stopped I-35W in Denton
DENTON COUNTY, Texas. Winter weather hitting the Dallas-Fort Worth metro on Tuesday caused some traffic problems in the area.
The Denton Police Department tweeted around 9 a.m. Tuesday that Interstate 35W was closed at Crawford Road due to an 18-wheeler blocking all lanes.
Traffic was diverted from the Interstate in Crawford to US 377.
The DPD said the Interstate would be closed for at least two hours. DPD advises drivers to choose an alternative route.
This crash is among numerous trouble spots in the metroplex, including Loop 12 on Singleton Boulevard, Interstate 30 on Interstate 45, and Interstate 20 on Interstate 35E.
