1 killed, 1 injured in North Austin: APD

Austin, Texas – Austin police investigate a suspicious death in North Austin.

The APD reported the call at the 9300 block of I-35 Southern Service Road shortly before 8:30 pm on February 5.

During a briefing at the scene, the APD said the call came in around 5:20 p.m. when someone reported two casualties. Officers arrived to find two men with “obvious injuries”, but the APD did not specify what those injuries were.

One of the men died on the spot, the second was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition. The relationship between the two is also not confirmed at this time.

The APD says this is an isolated incident that does not pose a permanent threat to the public.
