Wrong-way driver leaves Dallas police officer in critical condition on way to work
DALLAS COUNTY, Texas — A Dallas police officer was in critical condition after a crash with a wrong-way driver in southern Dallas early late Tuesday night, officials said.
All northbound lanes of Spur 408 in southern Dallas County were shut down as police investigated the crash.
The officer was driving to work for his shift when the crash happened shortly before midnight, police said.
The officer was taken to a hospital in critical condition. More information about his injuries was not released.
