Woman found missing for three days in Charlotte County

CHARLOTT COUNTY, Florida. The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office and the Lee County Warrants Department found Melissa Collins after she had been missing for three days.

Collins was last seen on January 9 at around 10 p.m. Authorities believed she was with Brandon Walton, who is wanted on felony warrants for burglary, false imprisonment of a man against his will, interference with a witness, and two counts of battery.

Thanks to the collaboration of the CCSO and the Lee County Warrant Office, as well as advice from local authorities, they were able to track the couple to a hotel in Fort Myers.

Walton is taken into custody while Collins is safely rescued.
