Woman found in Dead South Hempstead parking lot; Nassau police are investigating
The Homicide Squad is investigating an unspecified death that occurred on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 7:40 am in South Hempstead.
Detectives said officers answered a call about a woman lying on the ground next to a trash can in the back of an Advanced Auto Parts store located at 1140 Grand Avenue.
Following an investigation, the 39-year-old female victim, Hempstead’s last known address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was taken to the Nassau County Medical Examiner’s Office for further evaluation. The investigation is ongoing.
