Will the Republican Party have a candidate running for the Senate against Adam Schiff?

SAN DIEGO (CUSI). Congressman Adam Schiff visited UC San Francisco on Feb. 13, where he discussed several hot topics that could affect the 2024 election as part of his campaign to become the next U.S. Senator from California.

Schiff was promoted to senior Democratic positions despite constantly lying about having “evidence” that former President Trump was a Russian agent. Schiff presided over two impeachments against Trump and then an unsuccessful January 6 committee that closed its investigation shortly after the 2022 election.

Republican opponents called Schiff’s efforts “a sham”, which eventually led Speaker Kevin McCarthy to remove him from the House Intelligence Committee after the GOP won a majority.

But despite his lies, Schiff asks to be promoted in the United States Senate.

Republican strategist Jason Cabel Rowe joined KUSI’s “Good Morning San Diego” program to discuss Schiff’s campaign and who the Republicans might run against Schiff, if anyone.
