FRISCO, Texas – It’s finally here! Today, FC Dallas released their new second uniform: the Burn Baby Burn Kit.

This is a unique retro jersey that pays homage to the heritage of the Dallas Football Club and the original name of the Dallas Burn franchise. The shape’s green flames, black and red highlights, and a tribute to the Burn logo on the back of the collar are sure to make longtime Dallas fans nostalgic for the early days.

Here’s what the most important people (fans and players who wear it) have to say about the Burn Baby Burn kit.

“It’s fire, it hurts. I love it. I love how we pay homage to our roots as a club. I am very excited and proud to represent this and wear this jersey this year. I’ve always loved retro kits, retro kits. We don’t see them as often in football as we do in other sports where they might have a game where they wear disposable uniforms. It’s really great for us to be able to do this all year and have everything we need to do it. I’m glad we decided to go down this path.”

“I like it, it’s nice to have something different. I think the fans can relate it to the history of the club and the connection between the past and the present. It’s a great look, and as players, we’re always looking for something new and different. It’s a cream jersey with some black in it, which is atypical for FC Dallas in today’s world. Players are pleased to have something different. For the fans who have been around since day one, they can also find recognition in this.”

“It’s amazing to have a return kit. The colors are pleasant. We’re going to use white and black, so it gives a throwback feel, especially with the Burn logo on the back. The details are really good and I will happily wear it this year.”
