Watch and listen: heavy rain, hail, lightning and thunder in San Francisco

The storm cell brought heavy rain, hail, lightning and thunder to San Francisco on Tuesday afternoon.

NBC Bay Area reporter Sergio Quintana covered rainy weather in San Francisco as the storm intensified with hail, thunder and lightning.

“It was amazing because it happened over and over again,” Quintana said of the thunder.

Quintana reports that he was hailed for at least 15 minutes in San Francisco and heard thunder for at least 30 minutes.
