Votes still being tabulated in Harris County, Harris County Elections staff says

HOUSTON – Election Day is over, however, votes are still being tabulated into Wednesday morning, officials with Harris County Elections told KPRC 2.

According to HCE, 99% of votes have been tabulated. That does not include mail-in ballots.

Harris County has 782 polling locations but this comes after a lot of confusion and several issues Tuesday. As we reported, those issues started the morning of Election Day. Some of the polling locations opened later than scheduled, causing problems for some voters.

Staff members with HCE told KPRC 2 reporter Brittany Jeffers the tabulation of votes may likely conclude Wednesday morning.
