Full Service Conference Center

The addition of a pool and spa services soon to follow is a major upgrade for the Global Villa Hotel and represents the completion of the final phase of development; Dreams Come True.

The hotel, which showcased its full-service conference center equipped with state-of-the-art technology about ten years ago, has increased its demand and popularity in Hannover. The convention center accommodates up to 130 people and boasts six (6) executive rooftop suites. It is complemented by the Lucea Skills Training Center, a joint initiative with HEART TRUST NTA which offers hospitality and related courses.

The increased demand for skills is preparing Hanoverians for the many jobs that come up in the process. Preparing communities for the future is an important part of Gloria’s experience, as well as an opportunity to give back to her country of birth, Jamaica.

Gloria Spence, a visionary traveler, trusts her mother, Perline Grant. Perlina was a wealthy woman who taught her to never give up on her dreams. Also, be consistent in everything she does and do it with passion. One of the many awards received in Europe and Jamaica is an example of her unquenchable passion.

The Black Legacy Award was presented to Gloria in 1996 by Luster Products “to honor individuals who have made a significant contribution to raising the level of Afro hairdressing, skincare, and the importance of our national cuisine in Europe, leading to the creation of the National curriculum. have been modified to include Afro-Caribbean hair and skin, as well as the basics of our national dishes. It was all due to her selflessly giving her time, knowledge and foresight to help improve the abilities of others.” (Glitter products).

Hanoverians will benefit from a conducive, professional and affordable environment for their meetings, seminars, workshops, weddings and retreats.

When asked why she decided to invest in a pool at this particular time, Gloria replied: “I had a lot of requests from guests who wanted to have a water feature in the house. In addition, it was supported by the Jamaica Tourism Board (JTB) and Exim Bank. In fact, without their support and the support of Duane Hunter and Tribaco Construction limited, who have been a mainstay throughout the process, my dream would not have come true.”

Ideal Location

This charming 14-room hotel is located on the A1 main road in Escher, Lucea. It faces the Caribbean Sea and catches seductive sea breezes from the beautifully manicured front lawn and cozy veranda. Location, hospitality and customer service are the reasons for choosing this stopover for the Tourism Product Development Company (TPDCo). Best of all, a favorite in Hannover.

In fact, during the COVID-19 lockdown, the hotel never closed. It became a hub for police, nurses and firefighters, first responders, where they could buy food and drink. Global Villa’s commitment to society during the crisis was confirmed by staying open. Plus keeping staff busy as well as ensuring the best COVID-19 industry standards for sanitization.
