Visionary Tourism Stalwart continues modernization of the Global Villa hotel and conference center

Hanover, Jamaica – The Global Villa Hotel and Conference Center is an exemplary sustainable tourism hotel that has been operating in Lucea, Hannover since 1999.

This boutique hotel has come full circle. From a villa with 10 rooms to a hotel with 14 rooms with the addition of a large new pool, which will be launched on March 31, 2023. Spa services will also be included soon.

The Black Legacy Award was presented to Gloria in 1996 by Luster Products “to honor individuals who have made a significant contribution to raising the level of Afro hairdressing, skincare, and the importance of our national cuisine in Europe, leading to the creation of the National curriculum. have been modified to include Afro-Caribbean hair and skin, as well as the basics of our national dishes. When asked why she decided to invest in a pool at this particular time, Gloria replied: “I had a lot of requests from guests who wanted to have a water feature in the house. In addition, it was supported by the Jamaica Tourism Board (JTB) and Exim Bank. In fact, without their support and the support of Duane Hunter and Tribaco Construction limited, who have been a mainstay throughout the process, my dream would not have come true.”
