After a two-year hiatus, Valle Food & Wine Festival returns to Baja’s Valle de Guadalupe this October 21-23, offering a stellar line-up of over 40 award-winning culinary talents from both sides of the United States-Mexico border including celebrity chefs Nancy Silverton, Aaron Sanchez & Rick Bayless. This year’s 4th annual Valle Food & Wine Festival will take place at new venue, the beautiful Bruma vineyard, on Saturday, October 22 and Sunday, October 23, with a kick-off dinner on Friday, October 21. Only a short 2 hour drive from San Diego, Valle de Guadalupe is one of the hottest wine-travel destination in the west, and the Valle Food & Wine Fest is one of the most amazing culinary events of our region. The festival is unique in drawing a lineup of top chefs from as far as Mexico City and New York City to promote and celebrate the bounty of the region and the cuisine and wines of Baja California, both now being recognized world-wide.

At the Valle Food & Wine Festival, guests get the opportunity to sample foods cooked in a beautiful, wide-open field over open fires, barrel smokers and Caja Chinas, exemplifying the rustic-chic style and traditions of the region. In addition to dishes from a star-studded line-up of chefs, the festival showcases over 20 of the best Baja wineries, local craft breweries, and hand-made cocktails.  The day-into-evening Saturday event and the daytime Sunday event both feature live music and dancing, artisan vendors, inspiring talks, live painting, and more. The lineups change and tickets for each day are sold separately.

To comply with the wishes of local winemakers, chefs, and farmers, committed to preserving the region’s natural beauty by discouraging large events, the number of tickets for VFWF 2022 is limited. This means fewer crowds, no lines and more curated experiences. To accommodate more attendees, there will be two days of Valle Food & Wine Festival – Saturday, October 22 from 4-11pm and Sunday, October 23 from noon to 6:30 pm. Each day features approximately 25 chefs, 20 winemakers from the United States, Tijuana, Ensenada, Valle de Guadalupe and Tecate.
