USPS Unveils New Stamp Honoring Women’s Football at Orlando Tournament

ORLANDO, Florida. — The US Postal Service unveiled a new women’s soccer stamp Thursday in Orlando.

A Forever commemorative stamp dedicated to women’s football was unveiled at Exploria Stadium ahead of the SheBelieves Cup.

The stamp was designed by Antonio Alcala and depicts a female soccer player in action hitting the ball with a side kick.

USPS officials said illustrator Noah McMillan used simplistic shapes and bold colors to convey the high energy of the sport.

Amber McReynolds, a member of the US Postal Service Board of Governors, attended the opening to celebrate the vibrancy, energy and diversity of the sport.

“The country has incredibly talented women in all aspects of sports,” McReynolds said.
