LEE COUNTY, Florida. Residents of Sanibel can start receiving their mail at the temporary location on Monday, February 6th. The temporary post office will be located at 650 Tarpon Bay Road and will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. and on Saturday from 10 to 12
The post office will offer services such as mailboxes, postage, packing and mailbox pickup. The Postal Service is currently evaluating locations on Sanibel Island to determine where they can safely resume delivery to the public and businesses. Until this is completed, customers may collect mail at the temporary post office.
We remind customers that when receiving mail and parcels from the office, it is necessary to present an identity card.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Sanibel mail service will be restored THIS MONDAY.
This is a good move for our community, but we’re not done yet. I will continue to work with @USPS and fighting to get EVERY federal resource Floridians need to rebuild. https://t.co/qqISezY6my
