UC Berkeley Snow Lab Finds More Than 8 Inches Of Snow In Sierra Nevada This Weekend

Researchers at the UC Berkeley Central Snow Laboratory said they found 8.5 inches of new snow in the 24 hours between Saturday and Sunday morning.

On Sunday morning, researchers based in Soda Springs in the Sierra Nevada tweeted that the amount of snow was slightly less than forecast, but there was still room for more snow as wet weather is expected early next week. .
