Two teenagers, including a minor, have been charged with shooting another teenager in west Houston apartments.

HOUSTON “Two teenagers are charged with a shooting that left another teenager critically injured in early January.

Adrian Marks, 17, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and illegal possession of a weapon.

The second suspect, a 15-year-old teenager, was transferred to Harris County Juvenile Probation on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and illegal possession of a weapon. The name and photo of the teenager were not disclosed, as he is considered a minor.

On January 2, police patrol officers were dispatched around 1:05 a.m. to a man who was calling an apartment complex in the 9800 block of Meadowglen Lane. They arrive to find Keron Edwards suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers learned that Edwards, who is 18, was shot several times as he walked through the parking lot of the house.

The victim managed to run to the house, where his parents called 911.

Paramedics took Edwards to a local hospital, where he was in critical condition but was expected to survive.

Further investigation identified Marks and the minor as suspects. They were subsequently arrested and charged with involvement in the incident.
