Two police officers were injured after the car ran a red light and passed an NYPD cruiser.
Two police officers were injured when a car ran a red light and crashed into their cruiser in Brooklyn on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
An NYPD vehicle was heading north on 59th Street in Borough Park when it was hit by a westbound car on 17th Street shortly before 4 p.m., police said.
According to the police, the two police officers inside suffered minor injuries and were taken to the Maimonides Medical Center.
The driver of the other vehicle, whose name has not been released, was arrested.
