Two police officers were injured when a car ran a red light and crashed into their cruiser in Brooklyn on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

An NYPD vehicle was heading north on 59th Street in Borough Park when it was hit by a westbound car on 17th Street shortly before 4 p.m., police said.
