Two dogs rescued from snow-covered rooftop in San Bernardino County

San Bernardino County Rescue Team 6 rescued two dogs from a snowy rooftop in the village of Lake Arrowhead.

A social media post showed a photo of two dogs that appeared to be unharmed by being stuck on a rooftop.

The post mentioned several places where the dogs had been seen and included the owner’s number.

The post read in part:

“The owner is covered in snow and cannot get out. If anyone sees them and can get them, the owner will be grateful. Don’t chase them or yell at them. Sit at their level and let them come to you. you can try to feed them so that they come.”

The dogs seemed to be afraid to trust anyone, but Captain De la Torre was able to slowly lure them in with food and was able to get them off the roof.

The two dogs managed to escape again and were spotted by members of the community, who eventually returned them to their owner.
