Trump Leads Biden in Hypothetical 2024 Rematch: Poll
Former President Trump has a three-point lead over President Biden in a hypothetical rematch in 2024, according to an Emerson College poll.
The poll was released on Tuesday and shows Trump leading Biden by 44% to 41% in a hypothetical showdown.
43% of people polled in the survey cite the economy as their top concern, followed by healthcare (13%), immigration (11%), threats to democracy (10%) and crime (7%).
In the Republican primary, the poll showed Trump leading Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis 55% to 29%, with Mike Pence receiving 6% among Republican voters and Nikki Haley receiving 3% support.

After the November Emerson poll, support for DeSantis increased by 4%, while support for Trump remained the same.
There is an age and educational gap in the republican primary classes. Young Republican voters under 35 voted for Trump over DeSantis from 73% to 13%, while college-educated voters voted for DeSantis over Trump from 40% to 33%,” he said. Biden leads DeSantis in a hypothetical showdown by less than a percentage point, 40% to 39%. Biden lost three percentage points in a hypothetical showdown with DeSantis after Emerson’s November poll.
44% of voters approve of the work Biden does and 48% disapprove of his work.
