Three lambs injured, two killed, kept in Gonzalez High School agricultural program

GONZALES, California. (KION-TV) — Gonzalez police are trying to find whoever is responsible for killing two sheep and injuring a third sheep who are being kept on farmland at Gonzalez High School.

Police said they were sent to the grounds of the 4-H club at Gonzalez High School around 8:30 am on Saturday. Police said they believe this is an isolated incident by one person.

The injured lamb was taken to a local veterinary hospital for treatment. All of the animals were part of the Gonzalez High School Club.

Gonzalez police are tracking multiple leads and reviewing security footage.
