The video shows a 72-year-old woman and her husband being robbed at gunpoint outside their home in West Houston, HPD reports.

HOUSTON – Video footage of the armed robbery was made public in the hope that someone would identify the suspect involved, according to the Houston Police Department.

An aggravated robbery was reported on February 11 at 2:50 p.m. near a home located at the 10200 block of Briar Forest Drive, in West Houston.

Police said that as the 72-year-old woman was putting something into her truck in the garage of her home, a masked gunman approached her from behind. The suspect pointed a gun at her and demanded the car keys.

The woman started screaming as she alerted her 75-year-old husband to open the front door and check on her, police said. The suspect then pointed the gun at the man and again demanded the keys. The perpetrator then followed the man into the house, took the keys to their four-door BMW sedan, and drove away.

The victims’ car was found abandoned the next day on a residential street, next to an apartment building located at the 5400 Block of Rampart Street– said the police.
