The sheriff’s office says a 16-year-old was injured in a possible drive-by shooting in Delton.
DELTON, Florida. — A 16-year-old boy was shot in the arm Sunday morning in Delton in what the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said may have been a drive-by shooting.
The shooting reportedly took place around 7:20 am on Trade Street. tweet from the sheriff’s office. The boy suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was described in a tweet as stable.
Volusia detectives are currently investigating and promise to provide additional information “as the investigation permits,” the sheriff’s office said.
Other details are not disclosed.
