The man says he was shot when the groups exchanged gunfire outside the Fort Worth Club.

The man told Fort Worth police he was shot dead during a shootout between two groups outside a Fort Worth club late Friday night.

Police launched an investigation after a call was received shortly before 00:45 a.m. about a man at the JPS who had arrived with a gunshot wound.

The victim told the officers that he was near Lulu Hall when the two groups started shooting at each other.

He tried to leave on foot, only to find that he had been shot. Then someone took him to JPS.

Police said the victim did not have a description of the shooters.

No arrests were made.

The investigation into this shooting is ongoing.
