The Kiwanis Club in Little Havana hosts an annual Miss Carnival pageant.

MIAMI (WSVN) – The annual Miss Carnival pageant brought together young women leaders in Miami.

Organized by the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana, the event took place on Saturday evening at the Manuel Artime Theatre.

Participants aged 16 to 26 competed for the chance to become Carnaval Miami’s top brand ambassador.

“Miss Carnival has been around for over 25 years. We are very happy that he is back,” said Alexander Perez, president of the Kiwanis club in Little Havana. “We had a couple of years off due to the pandemic, but as everyone understands, it’s always nice to celebrate. For more than twenty years, any event has always been a success.”

The winner will host all Carnaval Miami events in 2023 and will also receive paid entry to the Miss Florida USA pageant, gifts and a college scholarship.
