The Friendswood native crowned Miss Universe 2023 was once featured on Houston Life.

NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana – Friendlywood has a CROWN!

R’Bonnie Gabrielle was crowned Miss Universe 2023 on Saturday night during the pageant.

Gabrielle, who has previously been Miss Texas USA and Miss USA, joined the Houston Life team several times to talk about her journey to winning those titles.

She also made history as the first Filipino American to win Miss USA.
