The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a series of raids.

LEE COUNTY, Florida. Florida Highway Patrol responded to a series of hit-and-runs this morning.

The first incident occurred on McGregor Boulevard when a white Chevrolet pickup truck was involved in a traffic accident and fled the scene.

After the collision, the Chevrolet hit two other vehicles in the Gladiolus Drive area and eastbound on Daniels Parkway.

After the third collision, Chevrolet again tried to flee the scene.

The witness stopped to help in the accident, and the driver of the Chevrolet got out of the truck, stole the witness’s car and began to run away from the scene.

The criminal investigation is ongoing, anyone with information is asked to contact the Florida Highway Patrol or Crimestoppers.
