The Coast Guard is looking for a missing man who was last seen near a Jamaica beach.

Barry Baham, 49, was last seen on Friday, officials said.

JAMAICA BEACH, Texas. United States Coast Guard along with other Galveston area officials looking for a missing man last seen Friday near Jamaica Beach.

Barry Baham49, was last seen heading north of Jamaica Beach on a fishing kayak. He was supposed to return around 4:00 pm and has not been seen since.

At the time of his disappearance, Baham was wearing khaki trousers and a long-sleeve shirt, according to the Coast Guard. His boat is described as a white fishing kayak, 12 to 15 feet long.

Anyone with information about Baham’s disappearance is asked to contact Coast Guard Sector Command Houston-Galveston at 281-464-4851.
