The chance of light rain returns to Central Florida as temperatures approach record highs again.

ORLANDO, Florida. – There will be several showers around Saturday, starting north of Orlando in the afternoon and gradually descending onto the peninsula by evening. Showers are possible as we approach the region of a weak cold front.

The chance of rain in general is only 20%.

On Saturday, most of Central Florida will have a combination of sun and clouds.

A few occasional showers could linger until Sunday morning.

The highs will become slightly cooler ahead of Sunday, with mostly sunny skies. Highs peak in the upper 70s to lower 80s.

Temperatures will return to the mid-to-high 80s next week.
