The car caught fire on I-95 on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard.

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida. The car caught fire due to engine problems on Interstate 95, initially closing three lanes of traffic, the West Palm Beach Fire and Rescue Department said Saturday afternoon.

1st Battalion Chief Douglas Green told WPTV that the man’s car was stopped heading south near the overpass on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard and he left around 1:00 p.m. The agency responded with three engines and one rescue party and put out the fire.

There were no injuries, the car was towed.

An hour later, the right lane was still blocked.
