Talk among White House aides about whether Biden should address UFOs intensifies: report

According to the report, White House aides are discussing the possibility of President Joe Biden going public with information about unidentified flying objects.

A White House spokesman told The Hill that there is increasing talk in the White House that Biden has addressed the issue, possibly as early as this week ahead of his trip to Poland.

“To date, I think they were pleased that Kirby answered questions about this,” one of the White House allies said, referring to White House spokesman John Kirby.

They added, “Until we know more, it’s okay to have him answer questions and then they’ll find the right moment for the president to answer them.”

Democratic strategist Rodell Mollino explained that he understands why Biden hasn’t spoken about it yet.

“It would be a repetition of what already exists,” Mollino told The Hill.

He continued, “The question is, what is the ultimate goal and the nerves of the American people are strained by this?” Or is it the media and some detractors of the president trying to stretch the story?”

According to Mollino, “The moment it comes out – it may seem counterintuitive – it doesn’t lessen the anxiety, but rather increases it.”

Mollineo also suggested that Biden’s lack of communication could cause lawmakers more concern.

Do you think Biden should address this issue?

“It is human nature to be afraid of the unknown,” Mollinho said.

He added: “Legislators are taking advantage of this situation to stir up fear and anxiety and perpetuate conspiracy theories. I think those who are trying to use it for their own purposes are not making things any easier.”

Kirby defended Biden amid criticism of his lack of communication.

Kirby argued that the administration was “as transparent as it gets”.

He explained, “I won’t talk about the president’s personal speech schedule, but I mean he was deeply involved in each of these decisions. He has been briefed, including this morning, on what is happening with the recovery efforts.”

ABC News notes that Biden only said one word publicly about it.

When asked last week about the downing near Alaska, Biden said, “Success.”

Officials said the owner or target of the three objects shot down over the past few days is unknown.

Kirby said Monday that Biden has instructed the federal government to “examine the broader political implications of detecting, analyzing and disposing of unidentified aerial objects that pose a security risk.”
