Take a photo, it lasts longer: IMAGES art festival returns to New Smyrna Beach

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Florida. “Artists are going to leave more than just footprints at the upcoming New Smyrna Beach Image Festival.

The 47th annual IMAGES: A Festival of the Arts will take place January 27-29 at Riverside Drive and Canal Street. The free event runs from 13:00 to 17:00 on January 27, from 9:00 to 17:00 on January 28, and from 10:00 to 16:00 on January 29.

According to the event’s website, more than 53,000 art lovers are expected to gather to see the work of 230 artists, including five Dayton State College students. The festival will also feature food trucks, live music, free art projects for children, and an exhibition of student work.

The Arts Festival was also ranked in the top 50 in the country by the Sunshine Artist 200 best.
