Suspect on Dirt Bike Flees After Two Shot in Trenton

A shooting has taken place in the Trenton Housing Authority’s Donnelly Homes area, with two individuals reported shot in the aftermath. As the investigation continues, it has emerged that the Mercer County Homocide Taskforce and Trenton Police are looking into the events that led to the incident. Following the shooting, emergency services personnel, including Trenton EMS and Capital Health Paramedics were called to the scene. They transported the injured parties to Capital Health Regional Medical Center’s Trauma Center, where they are currently receiving treatment.

In the aftermath of the shooting, it was reported that the suspect fled the area on a dirt bike. This prompted Trenton Police officers to pursue the suspect as they sped towards Broad Street. The chase continued until the suspect eventually dumped the bike in the vicinity of Haggerty Alley at the 400 Block of Genesee Street. Following abandonment of the dirt bike, the chase continued on foot until Trenton Police successfully apprehended the suspect in the South Broad Street area.
