SpaceX prepares to launch Falcon 9 Starlink early Sunday morning from Cape

CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida. – In just a few minutes on Sunday, SpaceX will attempt to launch another batch of Starlink satellites from the Space Force station at Cape Canaveral using a Falcon 9 rocket.

Scheduled for 00:10, additional launch opportunities will appear as needed at 1:51 and 3:32, with other backups at 23:55 on Sunday and 1:39 on Monday.

Due to severe storms hitting North and Central Florida, a 00:10 launch attempt has a 20 percent chance of encountering favorable weather, according to the 45th Weather Squadron. The report says a 24-hour delay would mean a 70 percent chance of favorable weather.

The mission — Starlink Group 5-4 — will carry 55 more internet satellites from Space Launch Complex 40 into low Earth orbit, according to SpaceX.
