Shop ’til you drop – and be sustainable – at Mana Fashion Ethical Pop Up in Wynwood

Remorse happens to all of us, but in an instant you can forget all this shame. Mana Fashion encourages all conscious shoppers to throw in some money without guilt. This weekend at Wynwood, you can expand your wardrobe and make a positive impression at the same time.

Sharing clothes is definitely one way to be sustainable, but at the Mana Fashion Ethical Pop Up event, there are many ways to feel good about spending money.

Alexandra Sivokoneva: “Mana Fashion supports ethical and sustainable brands. The vendors participating in this bazaar are artists, designers, brands whose business models are resilient.”

Eighty local and international brands will be showcasing their products – all of them trying to do something good with waste.

Alexandra Sivokoneva: “Some brands focus on environmentally friendly materials, so they are not so harmful. Maybe they are regenerated, repurposed.”

Creating wearable art and magical items is Valeria’s motivation.

Valeria Krasavina: “I make these unique, special things. I create these designs, dresses and tops in tulle, but most of them are made to order and I don’t have any waste or stock lying around doing nothing.”

For this designer, nothing goes unused.

Valeria Krasavina: “The shirt I’m wearing was a vintage men’s shirt, but I reconstructed it and gave it a second life, right? I have this button-down shirt dress, I added some tulle, I remodeled the sleeves to make it something new, and it’s also a smart way to design.”

Colombian brand Mapa specializes in clothes that truly fit everyone.

Antonia Cubillos: “These are large pieces of fabric with different prints, and from these pieces of fabric you can create dresses, skirts, tops, wrapping them around the body in different ways to create different looks. On our social media, we are always posting videos and tutorials on how people can style their pañalones“.

These travel-perfect outfits can express your mood during the day: calm and casual, elegant for an evening out or street grunge.

In this bazaar, you will shop for a specific purpose.

Alexandra Sivokoneva: “We hope they can come and buy all the goods for life in one place – from eco-friendly candles to clothing, beauty products and outdoor clothing, we have everything – so they can just make one-stop in the store and buy for the whole family.”

This free event will take place this Friday and Saturday at the Mana Convention Center. Click here to find out more.
