Sheriff: Naked woman killed after attacking homeowner with frying pan

AUSTINVILLE, Virginia. – Virginia authorities said a homeowner shot and killed a naked woman who entered his home and attacked him with a frying pan.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office said the incident occurred on February 26, before police received word of a shooting at 2655 Lofer’s Rest Road in Austinsville.

Arriving law enforcement officers found the woman shot in the leg. Rescuers helped her and took her to a local hospital.

According to investigators, the owner of the house heard a noise coming from the back of his house. When he checked, he found an unknown naked woman walking through the door. She then hit the homeowner with a cast-iron flying frying pan.

The landlord managed to get the woman out of the house before he secured her home.

However, the woman went out on the back porch, started pulling electrical switches, and began banging on the kitchen window, yelling at the landlord to get out of “her” house, threatening to kill him.

Moments later, the landlord grabbed a gun and shot the woman in the shin.

Authorities identified the suspect as Paulo Michelle Locklear, 35. She was released from the hospital and charged with a misdemeanor, assault and battery, and property damage.

He is awaiting trial in Carroll County District Court.

Authorities said the homeowner would not be charged because the shooting was considered self-defense.
